The Aloha Medical Mission, a nonprofit organization that treats patients in poor countries, is recycling used and broken cell phones as a fundraiser this month.
The mission is working with Project Re-Cell and will receive $1 to $300 per phone, depending on the age and condition of the phone. All money raised will go toward free healthcare to underserved people overseas and in Hawai'i.
You can donate your cell phones at three bins in Honolulu:
— AMM Administration, 810 N. Vineyard Blvd.
— Offices of Dr. Jorge Camara, 2226 Liliha St.
— Offices of Ramon K. Sy, 1314 St. King St.
