Los Angeles - Virtual mobile network operator Amp'd Mobile announced on Tuesday that it has signed agreements with the NBA and CSTV to broadcast live pro and college basketball games to mobile phones.
Amp'd Mobile will offer a live video stream of NBA TV, including live games, daily news coverage, and all of the network's original series.
Live NCAA college basketball games will be provided through CSTV, a unit of CBS, to Amp'd subscribers for the second year in a row.
Los Angeles-based Amp'd also signed agreements with Dime Magazine and Bounce Magazine, which will deliver live and on-demand coverage of summer street ball tournaments such as the Entertainer's Basketball Classic at Rucker Park, Kingdome, Dyckman, and Hoops in the Sun.
