by Parthajit

LG Electronics MobileComm (LG Mobile Phones), a unit of LG Electronics, and Verizon Wireless are set to launch the LG VX9400 in the first quarter to support V CAST Mobile TV.

The handset has a slim, swing bar design with a colour LCD for optimal TV viewing and new features, while also offering customers the ability to access V CAST Music and Video, 'Get It Now' and Mobile Web 2.0 , plus get Bluetooth capabilities and a 1.3 megapixel camera/camcorder.

LG feels the model will be ideal for viewing Verizon Wireless' new V CAST Mobile TV service. Additionally, with the LG VX9400's multitasking capability, users can take calls, messages, and when they hang up, go right back to enjoying their programme.

The model is V CAST Music-enabled with a music player, allowing customers to download and listen to song right on their phones and the external microSD memory card slot allows them to move their music from their computer directly to the phone.
