Go Mobile subscribers can now enjoy live TV streaming on their mobile phone at even more advantageous rates than before. Go Mobile, which so far is the only local mobile operator to offer a TV service on the move, is giving subscribers a choice of two additional live streaming bundles starting from as low as 90 cents per hour.
"Since Go Mobile launched TV On Your Mobile a year ago, demand keeps increasing. We have decided to make this service more accessible to all of our subscribers by introducing two new TV live streaming bundles in addition to the original pricing system," go mobile Business Development manager John Farrugia said.
Go Mobile subscribers can now benefit from access to live TV streaming wherever they are in Malta by choosing between a 24-hour time-window at 90 cents (offering a total of 60 minutes of live TV streaming) or a 30 day time-window at Lm2.90 (offering a total of ive hours of live TV streaming). Alternatively, they can opt for the original system, whereby live streaming is charged at 10c per five minutes.
"The two new tariff options are available for both our pre-paid and our contract subscribers. Registering is simple and can be done by sending a blank SMS – on 50705022 for the 24 hour time window and on 50705099 for the 30 day time window. Subscribers can also purchase their preferred bundle by clicking on the TV icon on Go Mobile's Go Live! WAP site from EDGE-compatible phones supporting live TV streaming," Mr Farrugia said.
Subscribers will be kept informed of the remaining balance on their bundles every time before they start a live TV streaming session. TV On Your Mobile gives subscribers access to live streaming on TVM, BBC World, fashiontv, MTV shorts, One TV and Net TV, besides offering other Video Library Content.
"We are also re-vamping our Video Library Content price list – as of today, every single video will be charged at 10 cents."
Subscribers can check the list of supporting phones from Go Mobile's website www.go.com.mt, or by calling 146 from their Go Mobile (call is free).
