But it's still possible for an investor to enter into the picture in the first few days of this month, "after insolvency proceedings have officially begun,," says the story. Some two thirds of the original 3,000 employees at BenQ Mobile have already lost their jobs.
According to the employee council, "only one party - an investment group from the IT and the semiconductor industry represented by a Munich lawyer - was still seriously interested in what was left of the former Siemens cell phone division," says Heise.
