Steve Jobs, chief executive of Apple Computer is due to address the media and public at the upcoming Macworld Conference & Expo in San Francisco.
The market is full of rumors on what the company might launch at the event. They are scheduled to showcase the Apple iTV product which was announced last year.
They are also expected to update their lineup of iPod digital music players. We might see a new version overhauled to work primarily as a video player.
Also, market experts believe that it is about time that the company launching a mobile phone with integrated iPod player. The company has never hinted about such a product but we have heard rumors that it is under development.
Avi Greengart, an analyst with Current Analysis said in a statement: "Even if Apple does not announce a phone, just the threat of Apple's entry could spur innovation. If Apple builds a phone that is easy and genuinely pleasurable to use, the company will have a winner no matter how it is priced or sold."
