Mobile phone Azan software in market

Tehran, Jan 18, Taliya News – The first Azan (Islamic Prayer Call) mobile phone software, designed based on Shi'a jurisprudence, was presented to market here Tuesday.
Managing Director of Hamrah Narmafzar Novin Company, Abbas Taqizadeh, announcing the news added, "This software company has launched a vast activity aimed at making indigenous the mobile sets equipped with Symbian operating system."
He added, "Keeping in mind the noticeable services that the mobile phone operators present to the subscribers, after producing and presenting Qur'anic and Hajj software, this company has produced an Azan software now."
On special features of Azan software, Taqizadeh said, "Among those features there is the exact prayer times based on Shi'a jurisprudence in accordance with Iran local times as they are announced on IRIB networks."
He added, "The city and residence place, the person that recites the Azan, and automatic recitation of Azan in the morning, noon time, or for evening prayer, are among the options available on this software."
Taqizadeh said, "This software is also enriched with a set of verdicts on prayers based on late Imam Khomeini's book of verdicts, and can be downloaded on Nokia N60 series.
He expressed hope that n near future Mafateeh-ul-Jenan prayer book, Hafez Anthology, language learning, and other educational aid software in a series called Hamyad would be presented to the market by that company.
