Four Sony Ericsson concept handsets: W990i, K850i, K1i and Mc700i

Tomorrow is THE day for the Swedish-Japanese handset manufacturer. And while we're still wondering what will Sony Ericsson announce, designers around the world have been busy designing their own SE concepts. Today, we're presenting you with the four such designs, all spotted during the last few days. Hopefully, we'll see some handset manufacturer (it doesn't have to be Sony Ericsson) picking up some of the ideas from here.

It's easy to figure out that Sony Ericsson W990i is a Walkman-branded device. But this concept baby is not only about the music — it can also take photos and videos with its powerful 5 MP camera. There's also the other 1.3 MP front camera (?), 20x digital zoom, VGA video recording, 8GB of internal memory, built-in GPS, stereo speakers… No, it can't cook a meal for you, but you can always rely on W990i's 3.5" wide touchscreen for accessing the latest recipes on the Web via HSDPA connection.

On the other hand, Sony Ericsson K850i is a slider Cybershot device that packs the high-quality 5 MP camera. It also brings all the glory of the Xenon flash light to make your images look as attractive as ever. I'll only remind you that we've already seen some leaked photos of the same-named device, and it certainly won't be a slider. Furthermore, I DO expect to see the next stage in Cybershot evolution announced tomorrow.

Next on our list is the Sony Ericsson K1i - the first touchscreen Cybershot handset. Actually, we've already seen this concept wearing the K890i mark. It has a slider form factor and a huge screen.
Finally, the Mc700i model should represent some kind of a fashion handset from Sony Ericsson (think L'Amour from Nokia). This isn't the new design — it's dated December 2005 making it really old, and I guess good for its time. Still, I can imagine some people using this kind of
phone today.

That's it folks. I've summed up all the concepts I've found during the past week. Now, let's just wait for Sony Ericsson to show us what they've got…
