Celebrating the recently released ‘Spider-Man 3,’ in the Indian market, Sony Ericsson has introduced the ‘Spider-Man 3′ limited edition phones offering its customers preloaded Spider-Man 3 wallpapers, screen savers and movie clips with the purchase of its K310i, K510i, Z550i and Z530i models. “We are extremely delighted to launch the limited edition Spider-Man 3 handsets. I am sure these fun phones with customized Spider-Man 3 features will be a hit with the customers. Featuring Spider-man 3 on Sony Ericsson handsets represents our latest addition to mobile entertainment for our customers,” said Sudhin Mathur, general manager, Sony Ericsson, India.
In the past too, Sony Ericsson has tied-up with various Bollywood initiatives as part of its localization strategy, such as Asha and Robbie World Exclusive Remix, ‘Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna’ movie, thereby offering integrated Bollywood content on Sony Ericsson phones.
In fact, Sony Ericsson has also been associated in the past with Hollywood blockbusters like Casino Royale, Star Wars and Spiderman 2 to successfully power the platform of ‘Entertainment’ through a number of projects surrounding around Movies and Sports.
