At&T rolls out Mobile Backup solution

AT&T just announced a new service called AT&T Mobile Backup to allow its subscribers to store, update and access their contact information from the Web. Naturally, the idea is to eliminate the need to spend hours re-entering contacts into a new or replacement phone — or to delete all contacts remotely in the case a phone has been stolen or lost. In addition, the new service allows subscribers to import existing contacts from Microsoft Outlook, Yahoo! and AOL through AT&T Mobile Backup website.

Interested? You’ll need one of the following six Motorola devices - RAZR V3xx, RAZR V3i, RAZR V3r, V365, SLVR L7 or KRZR K1, plus a will to pay $1.99 on top of your monthly bill.
